That would be great mate if Scotland could Draw or even BEAT the mighty France then Scotland would still be top of there group then the very ackward trip to the UkRaine and I don't think Scotland could possibly win that game but you never know cause if the lads come away from Hampden on Saturday with a WIN--WOW nine points with three games played 100% record that would be AWECSOME-mate!!!! BUT make no-mistake this will be a very tough game for Scotland!!! but with the Hampden roar behind the boys anything is possible!!!!

Yea, they ust have to watch Ribery and Malouda otherwise they could be in trouble but if they play to their best n get a bit of luck they could get the 3 points they need.

Surely Walter Smith wont pick David Weir (37...hardly kicked a ball this season) in stead of Mick McManus (7 clean sheets in a row) for the game against France.

Im sure Pressley will start and Hopefully McManus will play along side him.

With several other defenders injured for Scotland maybe Caldwell might get a start a right back

I'm ragen that the fact Maloney aint even in the team to make way for the likes of Gary Teale ,personaly thats out of order, just lok at Barry Ferguson he has hardly kicked a ball this season but hes a defo start on Saturday i take it Walter wants a hun team eh?? only joking as I want the lads to win as well no-matter who plays!!!

Also I see Quashie has pulled out, surely Maloney should be first on the list of CALL-UPS. Nothing in the press about it though.

Would have been interesting to see if young Mark Wilson was included if he had not been injured.

I say Wilson deserves a call-up when he returns from injury he's been immense lately.

Liverpool striker Craig Bellamy has been handed the captain's armband for Wales' Euro 2008 qualifiers.

John Toshack's side host Slovakia at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on Saturday before taking on Cyprus at home the following Wednesday.

The former Newcastle United and Blackburn Rovers hit-man has been chosen to deputise for the injured Ryan Giggs, despite facing a potential court appearance in Cardiff on a charge of common assault.

Bellamy denies the charge, which stems from an alleged incident involving two women in a Cardiff nightclub on February 5.

Despite the possibility that the 27-year-old may miss the Cyprus qualifier, Toshack has opted to appoint the fiery goalscorer to lead Wales out in both home games.

The Principality are looking to bounce back in Euro 2008 qualifying Group D, having opened their account with a late 2-1 defeat in Czech Republic last month.

With Germany and Republic of Ireland still to play in their group, Wales will likely need maximum points from both matches this month in order to keep their chances of qualifying for Austria and Switzerland alive.

PostSubject: Predictions for Tonight!!!   Sat Oct 07, 2006 2:42 pm

Cyprus v Ireland - a cheeky wee 2-0 win for the Bhoys in Green.

Wales v Slovakia - 1-0 at home enough for the big fish.

England v Macedonia - 4-0 to the 1966 WC winners( how many times do you think that will be mentioned tonight?? 18 for me!!).

Denmark v Norn Iron - a 3-0 defeat for the Bigots will do nicely here!!!( "we're not brazil...", aye no fuking shit sherlock!!! )

Scotland v France - a good 2-0 defeat of the Scotch Bigots to round off a great weekend (vive la Revolution indeed, Timmy)

Hopefully the bhoys in green can put a few past Cyprus but we're short a few first 11 players.

Wales to win 2-1 for me.

england to win 3-0 and john Mottson (sp?) to mention 1966 23 times lol!

and a 1-1 draw for between the scots and the frenchies.
